Rescue animals and me

My whole life, I have had many animals in my household, and they've always been rescue animals. I'm extremely passionate about rescuing animals and supporting rescue groups back home in Buffalo and everywhere I go. I really hope to get my own pet in the near future, and give them another chance at a better life than the one they had before. Learn more about my pets and donate to rescue organizations below! Thanks for visiting :)

ZeuS

Adopted Summer of 2020, Zeus (chihuahua) is the newest addition to the Lafornara family! Zeus was rescued from a hoarding and neglect situation. He is very skittish around other people, and took a long time to warm up to us as he has a fear of people from his past abuse. He loves walks and barking at everyone and everything! He has the largest wardrobe I have ever seen a dog have.

Izmae

Also adopted in the summer of 2020, Izmae was rescued from Texas by a group in Buffalo, NY. We adopted her as a puppy at 6 weeks old. She loves running around and playing fetch for hours, but she also loves laying around and cuddling to watch a movie with you too! She doesn't do well in crowds of people or with too many other dogs (as she gets distracted very quickly), but loves car rides and walks!

Meyuki

The real animal in charge of the house, Meyuki was rescued in 2014. She thinks she's a dog because she loves to run out the door when the other dogs go out, and explore outside (and then quickly regret it). She also loves to poke fun at the dogs by playing with them. She can be found sitting outside of my room with her paws crossed guarding it from anyone coming in, because it is her space after all! She loves to play, cuddle, and run around like a maniac at 3 in the morning and wake the whole family up!
